【Abstract】Objective To explore the application effect of sertraline hydrochloride in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) complicated with depression and its influence on SP-selectin, inflammatory factors and stress levels. Methods Twenty-three elderly patients with CHD and depression in our department were selected and grouped according to the random number table method. The 61 patients in the control group were given conventional CHD treatment and superficial psychological intervention, and 62 patients in the observation group were treated with sertraline hydrochloride. The clinical efficacy, depressive symptoms, expression of related inflammatory factors and stress levels were compared between the two groups. Results: After treatment, the levels of HAMD, SDS, SP-selectin, IL-6, TNF-α, hs-CRP, ET-1, MPO, LXA4 and Cor in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The 5-HT and total effective rate were higher. In the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Sertraline hydrochloride combined with superficial psychological intervention for the treatment of elderly CHD patients with depression can effectively improve the symptoms of depression, reduce the level of inflammatory factors and stress response in the body, and improve the clinical efficacy.
