[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the effect of minimally invasive surgery on depression and anxiety in patients with benign breast tumor. Methods: 126 patients with benign breast tumor in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected and divided into two groups according to the "random number table". 63 patients in the reference group were treated with traditional open surgery, and 63 patients in the observation group were treated with minimally invasive rotary surgery. The operation indexes, VSS score, complication rate, HAMA score and HAMD score of the two groups were compared. Results: the incision length, operation time, scar length and wound healing time of the observation group were shorter than those of the reference group, the VSS score of the observation group was lower than that of the reference group, the complication rate of the observation group (1.59%) was lower than that of the reference group (15.87%), the HAMA score and HAMD score of the observation group were lower than those of the reference group, the differences were statistically significant (P< 0.05). Conclusion: minimally invasive rotary surgery in the treatment of benign breast tumor has the advantages of short time, less trauma, less scar, less complications, and less anxiety and depression.
