[Abstract] Objective To explore the application effect of Rosenthal effect psychological nursing in the negative emotion intervention of emergency trauma patients. Methods Ninety-four emergency trauma patients in our hospital from May 2018 to May 2020 were selected as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into two groups using the number table method. The control group was given routine psychological care, and the observation group was given Rosenthal effect psychological care. The fear visual analogue scale (FAVS), post-traumatic growth scale (PTGI) and hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS) were compared between the two groups of patients before and after care. Results After nursing, the PTGI scale scores of the two groups increased significantly, and the scores of each item in the observation group after nursing were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The FAVS scores, HADS-A scores, and HADS-D scores of the two groups after nursing decreased significantly, and the three scores of the observation group after nursing were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Rosenthal effect psychological care can effectively reduce anxiety, depression, fear and other negative emotions of emergency trauma patients, and improve post-traumatic growth.
