It is an intrinsic requirement and a responsibility for teachers to conduct moral and political education in the curriculum for cultivating talent in the new era. It is an educational philosophy that demands professional course instructors to make full use of the time for teaching in classrooms, explore ideological and political elements to educate students based on the characteristics of each course. To achieve this, it is necessary to implement teaching reforms and explorations, aiming to enhance students professional competencies while improving their moral qualities. This paper takes the news translation course as a carrier to construct the implementation of it. News translation, involving cross - cultural communication between China and other countries, features timeliness, diverse content, and rich moral and political elements. If it is properly utilized, it can effectively fulfill the educational mission. To facilitate the implementation of it, the news translation teaching process is divided into five stages: reading relevant materials, translating texts, evaluating translations, reflecting on after class, and internalizing knowledge. Under the guidance of teachers, moral and political elements are timely integrated into these stages to promote the alignment of teaching and nurturing.
