With the continuous deepening of education reform in the new era, university physical education courses have surpassed the traditional scope of sports skill training and become an important platform for cultivating students physical and mental qualities, promoting comprehensive development, and shaping a sound personality. Focusing on the design of the university physical education curriculum teaching system under the concept of "characteristic empowerment, ideological and political guidance, and evaluation guidance", this study adopts research methods such as literature review, expert interviews, and logical analysis to design a "characteristic empowerment" university physical education curriculum characteristic teaching content system, deepen the construction of the ideological and political connotation of the "ideological and political guidance" university physical education curriculum, establish a scientific and reasonable evaluation system of the "evaluation guidance" university physical education curriculum, and achieve the coordinated development of characteristic empowerment, ideological and political guidance, and evaluation guidance of the "characteristic empowerment, ideological and political guidance, and evaluation guidance" university physical education curriculum teaching system. The aim is to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the innovation and development of university physical education in the new era, promote university physical education to move towards higher levels and wider fields, and cultivate Moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor skills Fully developed socialist builders and successors make positive contributions.
