Abstract: Objective To study the effect of olanzapine and zilaxidone on the mental state and blood lipid level of schizophrenic patients. Methods 82 schizophrenics patients were selected from our hospital from November 2018 to October 2020. The patients were divided into control group and treatment group by random digital table method, 41 cases respectively. The control group was treated with olanzapine tablets, the treatment group was treated with zilaxidone hydrochloride capsule, and the two groups were treated for 2 months. The clinical effect, mental state and blood lipid level of the two groups were compared. result The total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.81%, which was not statistically significant compared with 78.05% of the control group (P > 0.05); compared with the pre treatment, the scores of PANSS and CGI-S in the two groups were significantly lower (P < 0.05); the difference between the groups was not statistically significant; compared with the pre treatment, the serum LDL, HDL, chol and TG levels of the two groups were significantly increased compared with those before and after treatment The LDL level of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group (P < 0.05), and there was no significant difference between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusion olanzapine and zilaxidone have significantly improved the mental status of schizophrenics, but the effect of zolamazone on the blood lipid level is relatively light, which is more suitable for the treatment of schizophrenia.
