摘要
本研究基于为英语专业研究生开设的选修课程“现当代英语国家文学”二十年来的教学实践,以V.S.奈保尔短篇小说集《米格尔街》,特别是《布莱克·华兹华斯》这一篇目的教学思路为案例,回应新时期研究生教育中日益增长的学术能力培养需求。通过聚焦课堂教学策略及其有效性,本文探讨如何在外国文学课程中有效实施研究型教学法。研究围绕三个核心维度展开:文学阐释的问题导向、文本分析的理论视角,以及课堂内学术素养的培养,以期为新时期课程改革提供建设性见解。
Abstract
This study builds upon two decades of teaching practice in the postgraduate elective course “Modern and Contemporary Literatures of English-Speaking Countries” for English majors. Taking the instructional approach to V.S. Naipaul’s short story collection Miguel Street, “B. Wordsworth” in particular, as a case study, it addresses the growing demand for cultivating academic competencies in graduate education in the new era. Focusing on classroom teaching strategies and their effectiveness, the paper explores how to implement research-oriented pedagogy effectively in foreign literature courses. The discussion centers on three key aspects: problem-based approaches to literary interpretation, theoretical perspectives in textual analysis, and the in-class cultivation of scholarly literacy, offering insights into curriculum reform in the new era.
