Objective To analyze the application effect of using body language communication combined with individualized nursing in pediatric nursing work and its impact on the satisfaction of their family members with nursing care. Methods A total of 68 pediatric patients admitted between January 2023 and January 2024 were included and randomly divided into a control group (conventional nursing) and an observation group (body language communication combined with individualized nursing), with 34 cases in each group. The nursing effects of the two groups were compared. Results There was no significant difference in the physiological and psychological comfort scores of the children before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, the physiological and psychological comfort scores of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group. And compared with the nursing satisfaction, the observation group showed higher satisfaction than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of body language communication combined with personalized nursing in pediatric care can significantly improve the physiological and psychological comfort of children, enhance the satisfaction of their families with nursing care, and have high practical value.
