Objective To analyze the effect of continuous nursing intervention on patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma receiving radiotherapy. Methods A total of 100 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma who received radiotherapy in our hospital from January to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects. The patients were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received continuous nursing intervention. Subsequently, the psychological state scores (including anxiety and depression), quality of life scores, self-care ability scores, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients were compared and evaluated. Results After nursing, both groups of patients benefited. However, compared with the control group, the nursing satisfaction and quality of life scores of the patients in the observation group were higher. At the same time, the psychological state scores of the patients in the observation group were lower, and the scores of various self-care abilities were also higher. These differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion For patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma receiving radiotherapy, the implementation of continuous nursing intervention can produce significant effects. It can not only improve patients nursing satisfaction and quality of life, but also enhance patients self-care ability and effectively improve patients negative emotions. It has high application value.
