Objective To explore the application value of extended nursing services of case management in the nursing of patients after hand burn scar plastic surgery. Methods Sixty patients who underwent hand burn scar plastic surgery in our hospital within one year (2023.01-2023.12) were randomly divided into a control group and a study group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the study group received extended nursing services for individual case management. Collect relevant data on finger joint range of motion (TAM) and scar repair (VSS score) of two groups of patients before discharge, 1 month and 2 months after discharge, and compare them to evaluate the application effect of different nursing strategies. Results The comparison of various indicators between the two groups before discharge was P>0.05; The TAM values and VSS scores of the research group were better than those of the control group at 1 and 2 months after discharge, with a comparison of P<0.05. Conclusion The application of case management extended nursing services in the care of patients after hand burn scar plastic surgery can achieve ideal nursing effects, help promote finger joint function and scar recovery, and make patients more satisfied with the nursing effect, which is worth recommending.
