Objective To explore a more efficient and safe rehabilitation plan for the daily living ability of elderly patients with respiratory system dysfunction, while improving the level of community rehabilitation treatment. Methods 48 case samples were collected from individuals with respiratory system dysfunction identified during lung function testing in Gusu District from June 2023 to December 2023 at our center. Using Excel sampling function, 24 cases were included in the control group for daily observation; The remaining 24 cases were included in the study group and supplemented with community rehabilitation training in addition to conventional treatment. Compare the scores of the quality of life assessment scale and psychological health indicators between two groups of patients before and after treatment. Results There was no statistically significant difference in quality of life and mental health between the two groups before intervention (P>0.05). After intervention, the quality of life and mental health of patients in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Community rehabilitation therapy for early elderly patients with respiratory dysfunction can improve their prognosis and quality of life.
