Abstract
Objective Observe and analyze the clinical effectiveness and application value of nursing interventions based on symptom management theory for cervical cancer patients. Methods Sixty cervical cancer patients who received treatment in the hospital were selected (sample included time: May 2021to May 2024), and were randomly divided into control and experimental groups based on random numbers. The number of observed cases was highly consistent. Implement routine nursing and symptom management theory nursing interventions separately. Collect and analyze nursing outcomes. Results Compared with the control group (conventional nursing), the experimental group (nursing intervention based on symptom management theory) had lower symptom scores, lower degree of symptom impact on daily activities, higher quality of life scores (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function/overall health), and lower incidence of nausea, vomiting, and mucosal injury, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Nursing interventions based on symptom management theory can effectively reduce the risk of adverse reactions in cervical cancer patients, promote symptom improvement, and enhance quality of life, with high practical value.
