Objective To observe and analyze the application effect and value of walnut moxibustion combined with massage to prevent and treat myopia in children. Methods 60 cases of children with myopia were selected from the hospital (sample included: 60 cases; Sample inclusion time: April 2021 to April 2023) was divided into control and experimental groups based on random numbers, and the number of observed cases was highly consistent. Conventional treatment, walnut moxibustion combined with massage were carried out respectively. The therapeutic effect was collected and analyzed. Results Compared with the control group (conventional treatment), the experimental group (walnut moxibustion combined with massage massage) had higher naked eye distant vision, lower diopter, higher quality of life score (role function/emotional function/cognitive function/social function/physical function/general health), less myopia, and lower negative emotion score (anxiety/depression). The difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion with walnut combined with massage can effectively promote the prevention and treatment of myopia in children, and has high application value.
