Objective To analyze the role of comprehensive nursing in patients undergoing bronchoscopy intervention in the respiratory department. Methods 86 patients who received bronchoscopy intervention in the respiratory department of our hospital from February 2023 to January 2025 were randomly and evenly divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group received comprehensive nursing, while the control group received routine nursing. Satisfaction and other indicators were compared. Results Regarding SDS and SAS scores, after intervention: the experimental group scored (28.11 ± 4.26) and (30.17 ± 5.03), while the control group scored (39.58 ± 5.21) and (43.59 ± 6.39), with significant differences (P < 0.05). Nursing quality: the experimental group scored as high as (98.02 ± 0.75), while the control group scored only (92.14 ± 1.59), with significant differences (P < 0.05). Complications: 2.33% in the experimental group and 18.6% in the control group, P < 0.05. Satisfaction: 95.35% in the experimental group and 76.74% in the control group, P < 0.05. Conclusion Comprehensive nursing for patients undergoing bronchoscopy intervention in the respiratory department is significantly effective, with fewer complications, higher satisfaction, and better improvement in mental state.
