Objective To explore the effect of rapid rehabilitation nursing based on Hogans theory on postoperative intestinal function recovery in patients with colorectal cancer. Methods The subjects of this study were 56 patients with colorectal cancer, and the sampling period was from January 2023 to January 2024. The above patients were all treated with surgery and divided into a reference group and an experimental group according to the random number table method. The reference group received routine rehabilitation nursing, while the experimental group received rapid rehabilitation nursing based on Hogans theory, with 28 cases in each group. Compare the postoperative recovery time and incidence of complications between two groups. Results The postoperative recovery time of the experimental group was lower than that of the reference group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was lower than that in the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion Rapid rehabilitation nursing based on Hogans theory is helpful for the recovery of intestinal function in colorectal cancer patients after surgery, and can also reduce the occurrence of complications. This method is worth promoting.
