Objective To evaluate the effect of holistic nursing combined with humanistic care nursing in the perioperative period of patients with uterine prolapse. Methods Sixty patients with uterine prolapse admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected for the study. All of them underwent surgical treatment. The control group received routine perioperative care, while the observation group received holistic perioperative care combined with humanistic care. The time of getting out of bed and moving around after surgery, the time of first exhaust, the length of hospital stay and the complication rate were compared between the two groups. Results In the observation group, the postoperative ambulation time, the time of first flatulence, and the hospital stay of patients with uterine prolapse were shorter. Among them, one patient relapsed. In the control group, there was 1 case of recurrence, 2 cases of intestinal injury and 1 case of urinary system injury. The complication rate in the observation group was relatively low (P<0.05). Conclusion The implementation of holistic nursing combined with humanistic care during the perioperative period of uterine prolapse is conducive to the overall recovery of patients, can improve the safety of the surgery, and ensure the surgical outcome.
