Objective To analyze the therapeutic value of auricular point pressing in the treatment plan for patients with nausea and vomiting during cesarean section. Methods A total of 142 singleton full-term pregnant women who underwent elective cesarean section under spinal anesthesia from April 2024 to May 2025 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an experimental group, each consisting of 71 cases, using a digital random table method. The incidence of nausea and vomiting during the operation and the satisfaction of the treatment methods were compared. Results After nursing, the incidence of nausea and vomiting in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the treatment satisfaction was higher than that in the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of auricular point pressing in the treatment plan for patients with nausea and vomiting during cesarean section can reduce the incidence of nausea and vomiting during the operation, improve the physical comfort of patients, ensure the smooth progress of the operation, and facilitate the stable recovery of patients after the operation.
