[Abstract] Objective: to analyze the effect of tiopride and vitamin B12 on neurological function and psychology of children with TD. Methods: 120 children with TD in our hospital from March 2019 to February 2021 were selected and divided into two groups according to "different treatment methods". 60 children in the reference group were treated with tiopride, and 60 children in the experimental group were treated with tiopride + vitamin B12. The clinical efficacy, YGTSS score, Asia score, HAMA score and the total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results: the clinical total effective rate of the experimental group (95.00%) was higher than that of the reference group (70.00%), YGTSS score and HAMA score of the experimental group were lower than those of the reference group after treatment, Asia score of the experimental group was higher than that of the reference group after treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the experimental group (5.00%) was higher than that in the control group (6.67%), P > 0.05. Conclusion: tiopride and vitamin B12 can effectively relieve tic symptoms and anxiety, improve sensory and motor function in children with TD, and the incidence of adverse reactions is low.
