Objective To explore the nursing effect of health education for patients with chronic gastritis. Methods a total of 60 subjects were studied. The selection time was from January 2021 to February 2022. They were randomly divided into study group and control group. The average number of subjects in each group was 30. Different clinical nursing methods were implemented respectively. Among them, the control group was routine cli- nical nursing, and the study group implemented health education guidance on the basis of which to compare the patient compliance and nursing effect between the groups. Results after the guidance of health education, the over- all compliance of patients in the study group was significantly higher than that in the other group (P<0.05); The scores of quality of life and chronic gastritis related knowledge in the study group were higher than those in the control group, the score of sleep quality was lower than that in the control group, and the overall nursing effect was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion for patients with chronic gastritis, health education and guidance should be added in addition to following the nursing instructions in the process of clinical treatment, so as to help patients form a clear understanding of their own diseases and improve the overall nursing effect.
