[Abstract] Objective: To explore the effects of parental classroom guidance training combined with psychological intervention on the mental flexibility, post-traumatic growth and self-perceive burden of caregivers of children with cerebral palsy. Methods: From August 2018 to October 2020 in our department, 89 cases of caregivers of children with cerebral palsy were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into two groups by lottery. The control group was given conventional interventions for 44 cases and the observation group was 45 cases. On the basis of the control group, "Parent Class" guidance training was added, and the two groups of childrens caregivers were compared with their parenting mental flexibility, post-traumatic growth, and self-experience burden. Results: There was no significant difference in the scores of nurturing mental flexibility, anxiety, depression, self-perceived burden, and post-traumatic growth between the two groups before the intervention (P>0.05); after the intervention, the observation group had cognitive dissociation, acceptance and commitment The scores of action, relationship with others, personal strength, new possibilities, philosophy of life, and self-change are higher than those of the control group, while the total scores of anxiety, depression, financial burden, emotional burden, physical burden, and self-feeling burden are lower than the control group. Conclusion: Parents classroom guidance training combined with psychological intervention has a significant intervention effect on caregivers of children with cerebral palsy, which can significantly improve the mental flexibility of caregivers in nurturing, reduce the burden of self-feeling, and promote post-traumatic growth.
