[Abstract] Objective: To observe the effect of methylphenidate + pediatric intelligence syrup on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. Methods: 90 children with ADHD admitted from March 2018 to March 2021 were randomly divided into observation group (45 cases were included and treated with methylphenidate + childrens intelligence syrup), control group (45 cases were included and treated with methylphenidate only), Wexler Intelligence Scale for children (WISC-R) and Conners parental symptom questionnaire Results: (1) there was no significant difference in WISC-R and PSQ scores between the groups before treatment, P > 0.05; after 3 months of treatment, the WISC-R and PSQ scores of the observation group were better, P < 0.05; (2) in terms of adverse drug reactions, the observation group (8.89%) and the control group (13.33%) There was no significant difference, P > 0.05, and all symptoms were mild; (3) in terms of clinical effective rate, the observation group (91.11%) was better than the control group (73.33%), P < 0.05. Conclusion: methylphenidate + childrens intelligence syrup treatment for ADHD children can enhance the curative effect, improve the intelligence level, reduce and alleviate symptoms, and have less adverse reactions, which is worthy of popularization.
