【Abstract】Objective: To explore the effect of relaxation training in perioperative patients with gastric cancer, and its effect on stress response, anxiety and depression, and sleep quality. Methods: A total of 103 patients with gastric cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 were selected for research. The patients were divided into two groups by lottery. 51 cases in the control group were given perioperative management and psychological treatment. In the observation group, 52 cases were combined with relaxation training, and the results of surgery, stress response, anxiety and depression, immune function, sleep quality, and fatigue state were compared. Results: After treatment, the observation group Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI), Piper Fatigue Scale score, heart rate, diastolic blood pressure, systolic blood pressure, CD8+ The levels were lower than those of the control group, and the levels of CD4+/CD8+, CD4+, and CD3+ were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05); there was no statistically significant comparison of the surgical effects between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Relaxation training adjuvant therapy can more effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with gastric cancer during the perioperative period, thereby promoting the recovery of immune function, fatigue, and sleep therapy, and alleviating the patients stress response, but it has no significant effect on the surgical effect.
