[Abstract] Objective: To explore the use of WeChat doctor-patient interaction platform for management intervention in the treatment of attempted suicide patients with depression. Method: From February 2021 to October 2022, a study was conducted on 100 patients with attempted suicide depression who improved/were cured and discharged from the psychiatric department. They were randomly divided into two groups using a random number table method. One group received routine drug treatment, regular laboratory examinations, and telephone follow-up (control group), while the other received WeChat doctor-patient interaction platform management intervention (observation group). Analyze the compliance with medication treatment, depression score, social support score, and risk of severe mental illness in two groups. Result: The SDS scores of 50 patients in the observation group managed and intervened through WeChat doctor-patient interaction platform were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); The medication treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); The intervention control group received social support scores from the observation group (P<0.05); The risk of severe mental illness in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: In the treatment of attempted suicide patients with depression, the use of WeChat doctor-patient interaction platform management intervention plan can improve their depression status and ensure that patients follow medical advice for rational medication treatment, which is worth learning from and implementing.
