[Abstract]:Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy, polysomnography (PSG) parameters, monoamine neurotransmitter, interleukin-1β and IL-17 levels of Bailimian capsule combined with trazoldone hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic insomnia with depression and anxiety in the elderly.Methods:A total of 198 elderly patients with chronic insomnia accompanied by depression and anxiety admitted to our hospital from June 2019 to June 2021 were selected and divided into two groups according to numerical random table method, with 99 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Bailimian capsule combined with trazodone hydrochloride, and the control group was treated with trazodone hydrochloride alone. The efficacy and adverse reaction rate of the two groups were observed. Sleep status, blood levels of amine neurotransmitters, IL-1β and IL-17 were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). Compared with before treatment, after treatment, total sleep time (TST) was significantly extended (P<0.05), sleep latency (SL) and rapid eye movement sleep latency (REM-SL) were significantly shortened (P<0.05), sleep efficiency (SE) was significantly increased (P<0.05), and N1% and N2% were significantly decreased (P<0.05). N3%, rapid eye movement sleep (REM-ST) % were significantly increased (P<0.05); The improvement was more significant in observation group (P<0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA) were significantly increased compared with before treatment (P<0.05), and the serum levels of IL-1β and IL-17 were significantly decreased compared with before treatment (P<0.05). The improvement was more significant in observation group (P<0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of elderly chronic insomnia accompanied by depression and anxiety, Bailimian capsule combined with trazoldone hydrochloride can effectively improve sleep process and sleep structure, regulate the expression levels of amine neurotransmitters, IL-1β and IL-17, and promote the relief of insomnia, anxiety and depression.
