Abstract】Objective: To observe the combined effect of dexmedetomidine and sufentanil analgesia in the induction period of gynecological surgery and to evaluate its effect on anxiety and depression. METHODS: A total of 500 gynecological surgery patients admitted to our hospital (01/2021-01/2023) were retrospectively analyzed and grouped according to the choice of anesthesia and analgesic drugs. 250 patients with dexmedetomidine and sufentanil analgesia during induction of anesthesia were used as the study group, and another 250 patients with saline + sufentanil analgesia were used as the control group. RESULTS: Pain scores and anxiety and depression scores were higher in the study group at 6h, 12h and 24h postoperatively compared with 1h postoperatively, while the study group was lower than the control group, (P < 0.05). The overall complication rate of patients in the study group was lower than that of the control group, but the rate of reduction of intraoperative center was higher than that of the control group, (P<0.05). Conclusion: In gynecological surgery, the combined application of dexmedetomidine and sufentanil analgesia can significantly stabilize patients vital signs, improve the anesthetic effect, and reduce postoperative patients pain and adverse emotions of anxiety and depression, with ideal results.
