【 Abstract 】 Objective To investigate the relationship between platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), C-reactive protein (CRP) expression level and post-ischemic stroke depression (PSD). Methods A total of 134 patients with ischemic stroke admitted to our hospital from July 2020 to July 2022 were selected and followed up for 3 months. They were divided into PSD group and non-PSD group according to their PSD status. Their baseline data were compared. According to Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), they were divided into mild depression group and moderate to severe depression group, and the relationship between PLR, NLR, CRP and the severity of depression after ischemic stroke was analyzed. Results: The levels of PLR, NLR and CRP in PSD group were higher than those in non-PSD group, and the levels of PLR, NLR and CRP in moderate to severe depression group were higher than those in mild depression group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). PLR, NLR and CRP are independent risk factors for the occurrence of PSD (P<0.05). Conclusion: PLR, NLR and CRP can be used as blood reference indicators to predict the incidence and severity of depression after ischemic stroke.
