[Abstract] Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of psychological nursing under the concept of humanistic care in patients with acute heart failure (AHF). Methods: A total of 260 AHF patients from May 2019 to June 2020 were randomly assigned to the observation group (including 130 patients who received psychological care under the concept of humanistic care) and the control group (including 130 patients who received routine care). The comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire 74 (GQOLI-74), self rating anxiety scale (SAS), self rating depression scale (SDS), and Herth Hope scale (HHI) were evaluated Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) and cardiac function indicators. Results: Before nursing, there was no significant difference in GQOLI-74, SAS, SDS, HHI, PSQI, and cardiac function indicators between the groups (P>0.05); After nursing, the observation group showed better GQOLI-74, SAS, SDS, HHI, PSQI, and cardiac function indicators (P<0.05). Conclusion: Adopting psychological care under the concept of humanistic care for AHF patients can improve anxiety and depression, improve hope levels and quality of life, alleviate sleep disorders, and promote disease progression.
