[Abstract] Objective: To explore the value of zopiclone and esazolam in the treatment of senile sleep disorders. Methods: In 80 elderly patients with sleep disorders admitted to our hospital from April 2020 to June 2022, one group received eszolam (included in the control group) and one group received zopiclone (included in the observation group). The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared, the incidence of adverse reactions was counted, and the sleep state, psychological state and mental state were analyzed. Results: The clinical efficacy of the observation group of 40 patients treated with zopiclone was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05); The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); The Self Rating Scale of Sleep (SRSS) score, Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score, and Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); The Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of zopiclone and esazolam in the treatment of senile sleep disorders can improve the condition of patients, but the safety and effectiveness of zopiclone treatment are higher, and can improve their sleep quality and reduce the impact of the disease on the physical and mental state of patients, which is worthy of reference and implementation.
