【 Abstract 】Objective To explore the effect of music therapy combined with 5A nursing mode on the psychological status of children with epilepsy. Methods From January 2020 to May 2021, 60 children with epilepsy in our hospital were selected as subjects. Sixty children with epilepsy were divided into routine care group (n=30) and music therapy combined with 5A care group (n=30) by random number table method. There was no statistical difference in gender and age between the conventional care group and music therapy combined with 5A care group (P > 0.05), which was comparable. By referring to the Core Quality of Life Scale (QOL-C30), Hearth Hope Scale (HHI), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale (PSQI), Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), the psychological status of children with epilepsy was reflected. Results There was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups before nursing (P > 0.05), and the score of quality of life in the group of music therapy combined with 5A nursing after nursing was higher (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in hope level and sleep quality between the two groups before nursing (P > 0.05), while HHI score and PSQI score were higher and lower in the 5A nursing group after nursing (P < 0.05). There was no statistical significance in psychological state between the two groups before nursing (P > 0.05), and the HAMA and HAMD scores of the 5A nursing group after nursing were lower (P < 0.05).Conclusion The results of this study show that music therapy combined with 5A nursing mode can effectively improve the quality of life, hope level, sleep quality, self-care ability and alleviate psychological state of children with epilepsy, which is worthy of clinical application. However, there are still shortcomings in this study, such as small sample size, single study object, and geographical restrictions on the source of cases. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the sample size, include multi-center research objects, and expand the source range of cases in future studies to confirm the accuracy of this study.
