Abstract
[Abstract] Objective To explore the influence of focused solution mode on cognition and emotion after craniocerebral tumor surgery. Methods A total of 104 patients with brain tumors from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received a combination of cognitive and emotional focused problem-solving nursing interventions on the basis of the control group. The Montreal Cognitive Scale (MoCA), Hamilton Depression and Anxiety Scale (HAMD), and HAMA before and after intervention were compared. Results After intervention, the scores and total scores of the MoCA scale in both groups were significantly increased, and the scores and total scores of the MoCA scale in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After intervention, the HAMD score and HAMA score of both groups significantly decreased, and the observation group had significantly lower scores than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Focused nursing intervention for cognition and emotion can significantly improve cognitive function after brain tumor surgery and reduce anxiety and depression.
