【Abstract】Objective:Analyze the relationship between anxiety, perceived health status, and dizziness disorder scale scores in patients with dizziness. Methods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 122 patients with chronic subjective dizziness (CSD) who were diagnosed and treated in our hospital from March 2022 to May 2023. They were divided into a young and middle-aged group (18-44 years old) with 11 cases, a pre elderly group (45-59 years old) with 42 cases, and an elderly group (≥ 60 years old) with 69 cases. Anxiety was evaluated using the Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), and perceived health status was evaluated using the Short Form Health Questionnaire (SF-36), The Vertigo Disability Assessment Scale (DHI) evaluates the treatment and rehabilitation effects, compares SAS, DHI scores, and SF-36 scores for different age groups, and analyzes the correlation between DHI scores and SAS, SF-36 scores for dizziness patients.Result:The scores of SAS, MH, RE, SF, VT, BP, RP, and PE in different age groups were statistically significant (P<0.05), while the scores of DHI and GH in different age groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05); Compared with the young and middle-aged group and the pre elderly group, the elderly group had lower scores in MH, SF, VT, BP, and PF (P<0.05). Compared with the young and middle-aged group, the pre elderly group and the elderly group had lower scores in RE, RP, and PF (P<0.05). According to Pearson analysis, DHI score was positively correlated with SAS score (P<0.05), and negatively correlated with MH, RE, SF, VT, GH, BP, RP, and PE scores (P<0.05).Conclusion:The anxiety perception and health status of CSD patients are closely related to DHI scores.
