Abstract
Objective: To explore the pressure of medical staff returning to work and related influencing factors after the novel coronavirus infection. Methods: In this study, 131 medical workers were randomly sampled as the study subjects, and the survey tools were the general condition questionnaire, anxiety self-rating scale and depression self-rating scale questionnaires. Results: After the COVID-19 infection, the anxiety and depression levels of female medical staff were significantly higher than those of men. The anxiety level of those with doctoral degree or above was significantly higher than that of undergraduate; Anxiety levels were significantly higher in those living with family than in those living alone; Healthcare workers who feel anxiety about returning to work for fear of passing the virus on to their families have higher levels of depression. Healthcare workers with return-to-work anxiety significantly reduced their work energy, expected to return to work later, and had a significantly higher rate of moderate depression. Conclusion: The main reason of anxiety about returning to work among medical staff are fear of infection to family members and objections to the reasonable return time, which will affect work energy and bring depression.
