Abstract: Objective: To explore the effects of psychological nursing based on Satir model on negative emotions and treatment compliance in inpatients with coronary heart disease. Methods: A total of 160 patients with coronary heart disease treated in the hospital were enrolled as the research objects between January 2021 and September 2023. According to the admission time, they were divided into control group and Satir group, 80 cases in each group. During hospitalization, control group was given routine psychological nursing, while Satir group was given psychological nursing based on Satir model. The scores of mini-mental state examination (MMSE), China questionnaire of quality of life inpatients with cardiovascular diseases (CQQC), self-rating depression scale (SDS) and self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) before intervention and after 1 month of intervention, incidence of complications and treatment compliance were compared between the two groups. Results: Before intervention, there was no significant difference in scores of MMSE, CQQC, SAS, SDS and treatment compliance between the two groups (P>0.05). After intervention, scores of MMSE, CQQC, medication compliance, exercise compliance and non-exercise compliance were significantly increased in both groups (P<0.05), which were significantly higher in Satir group than control group (P<0.05), and scores of SAS and SDS were significantly decreased (P<0.05), which were significantly lower in Satir group than control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion: Psychological nursing based on Satir model can effectively adjust negative emotions, improve treatment compliance and quality of life in inpatients with coronary heart disease.
