Objective To analyze the effect of empathic nursing combined with SBAR communication system in pregnant women with gestational diabetes. Methods 100 cases of pregnant women with gestational diabetes admitted to the hospital from January 2022.to December 2023.December were selected as the research objects, and were divided into control group (routine care, 50 cases) and research group (empathic care +SBAR communication system intervention, 50 cases) by using the number table random ranking method. The mental state, disease awareness, self-management behavior and adherence of the two groups were compared. Results The HAMA and HAMD scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05). The scores of disease awareness and SMQGDM in the study group were higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). In terms of adherence rate, the study group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Empathic nursing +SBAR communication system can improve the mental state and self-management behavior of pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus.
