Objective To evaluate the effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on gastrointestinal response after TACE. Methods 100 liver cancer patients with liver cancer treated by hepatic artery chemoembolization (TAcE) in our hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were randomly selected. The selected patients were divided into two groups by random number table, including observation group and control group, with 50 patients in each group. The control group performed routine nursing, and the observation group adopted comprehensive nursing intervention to analyze and compare the clinical nursing effects achieved by the two groups. Results Comparing the final results of the two groups showed that the anxiety and compliance of the observation group were better than the control group, the pain degree of the postoperative patients was significantly reduced compared with the control group, the incidence of gastrointestinal reaction was significantly lower than that of the control group, the postoperative bed time and hospital stay were shorter than that of the control group, and the quality of life of the patients was significantly improved compared with the control group, (P <0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention during TACE for liver cancer patients can effectively relieve the negative mood, enhance the compliance behavior, reduce the postoperative pain, reduce the occurrence of gastrointestinal reactions, promote the postoperative physical recovery, and improve the quality of life of patients.
