Objective To analyze the efficacy, clinical manifestations, and safety of high-frequency electrocoagulation resection under painless gastroscopy for the treatment of gastric polyps. Methods 70 patients with gastric polyps admitted from December 2022 to December 2023 were randomly divided into a painless group and a conventional group. They were treated with conventional therapy and high-frequency electrocoagulation under painless gastroscopy, respectively. Clinical indicators, success rate, recurrence rate, and incidence of complications were compared. Results Compared with the conventional group, the painless group had better clinical indicators, higher success rate (100.00%>82.86%), lower recurrence rate (2.86%<22.86%), and lower incidence of complications (0.00%<20.00%). The comparisons were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion High frequency electrocoagulation under painless gastroscopy can further promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with gastric polyps, and has good therapeutic effect and safety.
