Objective To explore the improvement direction of high-quality nursing services in the Department of Respiratory Medicine and to verify the actual effect of overall nursing care under the responsibility system. Methods 102 patients admitted to the Department of Respiratory Medicine were selected as the research subjects. Among them, 51 cases (control group) were admitted from March 2023 to August 2023. During this period, routine high-quality care was still used (Plan A), and the remaining 51 cases (observation Group) will be admitted from September 2023 to March 2024. During this period, responsibility-based holistic nursing (Plan B) will be implemented. The clinical effects of the two nursing plans will be compared. Results The nursing quality and patient satisfaction of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the hospital infection rate was significantly lower than that of the control group, P<0.05, with statistical significance. Conclusion Responsibility-based holistic nursing fills the shortcomings of conventional high-quality nursing, is conducive to improving the quality of nursing care and the nurse-patient relationship, while reducing the risk of hospital infection, thereby improving the overall medical care level of respiratory medicine.
