Abstract
Objective To analyze the value of evidence-based nursing in the rehabilitation of patients with ischemic stroke. Methods 92 patients with ischemic stroke diagnosed and treated in our hospital from November 2022 to November 2023 were selected. All cases were divided equally into 2 groups, with 46 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, and the observation group received evidence-based care. The changes in neurological function, self-care ability, quality of life and compliance of patients in the 2 groups were evaluated. Results Compared with the control group, the National Institutes of Health Neurological Impairment Scale (NIHSS) score of the observation group was significantly reduced and the Barthel Index (BI) score was significantly increased after the intervention (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the health survey short form (SF-36) score of the observation group was significantly improved after the intervention (P<0.05). Compared with the control group, the total compliance rate of the observation group was significantly higher (P<0.05). Conclusion Adopting evidence-based nursing care during the rehabilitation of ischemic stroke patients can help improve compliance, promote improvement in neurological function and self-care ability, and improve quality of life.
