Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of using butylphthalein combined with clopidogrel in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction. Methods Sixty patients with acute elderly infarction who received treatment in the Department of Psychiatry of our hospital from June 2023 to April 2024 were selected as the observation subjects and randomly divided into a control group (30 cases) and an observation group (30 cases). The control group was treated with clopidogrel, while the observation group was treated with a combination of ibuprofen and clopidogrel. Compare the clinical treatment outcomes, degree of neurological deficits, and daily living ability scores between two groups of patients. Results After treatment, the clinical effect of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, with lower scores of neurological deficits and higher daily living abilities. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The combination of ibuprofen and clopidogrel has significant therapeutic effects in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction, effectively improving neurological deficits and enhancing patients daily living abilities. It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
