Objective To explore the application value of intradermal acupuncture therapy in improving the clinical treatment effect of insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency type. Methods A total of 60 patients with insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency type from May 2024 to September 2024 in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups, with the same number of cases in both groups, 30 cases. The control group was given conventional acupuncture treatment, and the observation group was given intradermal acupuncture treatment on the basis of conventional acupuncture treatment, and the treatment effects of the two groups were compared. Results Before treatment, the PSQI scores of the two groups were compared (P>0.05); after treatment, the scores of each dimension of the PSQI scale (sleep quality, sleep time, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders, hypnotic drugs, daytime dysfunction) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the results were compared (P<0.05); compared with the control group, the treatment satisfaction of the observation group was higher, and the results were compared (P<0.05). Conclusion Intradermal acupuncture has a good synergistic effect on insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency type, which helps to better improve the sleep quality of patients and increase their satisfaction with treatment.
