Objective Study on the clinical value of preoperative endoscopy in locating small colorectal tumors under laparoscopy. Methods Sixty patients with colorectal small tumors admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. According to the timing of endoscopic tumor localization, they were divided into a control group (30 cases, using intraoperative endoscopy) and an observation group (30 cases, using preoperative endoscopy). The surgical time, ventilation time, hospitalization time, localization accuracy, postoperative abdominal distension rate, and anastomotic leakage rate of the two groups of patients were compared and evaluated. Results There was no statistically significant difference in hospitalization time and anastomotic leakage rate between the two groups of patients (P>0.05). The surgical time and ventilation time of the observation group patients were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05). The positioning accuracy of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The postoperative abdominal distension rate of the observation group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Preoperative endoscopic localization can achieve significant results in patients with laparoscopic colorectal small tumors, significantly shorten the patients surgical time and postoperative ventilation time, and reduce postoperative abdominal distension rate. It has high application value and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
