Objective To explore and analyze the comprehensive effect of psychological intervention combined with exercise therapy in community nursing of diabetic patients. Methods In this experimental research activity, starting from March 2023 and ending in March 2024, 80 patients with diabetes mellitus in the community were selected as the test subjects, and they were divided into two groups by touching the ball, among which the patients who received routine care (n=40) were called the control group, and the patients who received psychological intervention combined with exercise therapy (n=40) were called the observation group. Finally, the observation indicators were evaluated: psychological status, blood glucose index, and quality of life. Results There was no difference in psychological state and blood glucose index between groups before nursing (P>0.05). After nursing, the observation group was better than the control group (P<0.05). The quality of life between the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Psychological intervention combined with exercise therapy can improve and stabilize the condition of diabetic patients, alleviate negative emotions, and promote the improvement of quality of life. The application effect is remarkable, and it is worth promoting the application.
