Objective To explore the application effect of four-hand operation nursing cooperation in the extraction of mandibular impacted wisdom teeth. Methods A total of 60 patients who underwent mandibular impacted wisdom teeth extraction in our hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were selected for the study and randomly divided into two groups. The control group received routine intraoperative nursing, and the observation group received four-hand operation nursing cooperation. The operation time and intraoperative bleeding volume of the two groups were counted; the proportion of adverse reactions such as severe facial swelling, postoperative bleeding, local numbness, and loose adjacent teeth in the two groups was compared. Results The average operation time for the extraction of mandibular impacted wisdom teeth in the observation group was about 25 minutes; the intraoperative bleeding volume was about 1.85 ml; the average operation time for the extraction of mandibular impacted wisdom teeth in the control group was about 36 minutes; the intraoperative bleeding volume was about 3.84 ml. Compared with the control group, the operation time of the observation group was shortened and the intraoperative bleeding volume was reduced. In the observation group, 1 patient had severe facial swelling and 1 had local numbness; in the control group, 3 patients had severe facial swelling, 2 had postoperative bleeding, and 3 had local numbness. There was no case of adjacent tooth loosening in both groups. The total adverse reaction rate in the observation group was 2/6.67%, which was lower than that in the control group (8/26.67%) (P<0.05). Conclusion The four-hand operation nursing cooperation in the extraction of mandibular impacted wisdom teeth can shorten the operation time, reduce the amount of intraoperative bleeding, and inhibit the occurrence of adverse reactions. The cooperation mode is helpful for the recovery of patients.
