This study deeply discusses how to improve the training effect of vocational education students from ASEAN countries through scientific and reasonable curriculum under the "Belt and Road" Initiative. The study points out that the curriculum is a key factor affecting the learning effectiveness of international students, and emphasizes the importance of diversifying course content, modernizing teaching methods, and diversifying and flexible assessment systems. The study found that the existing curriculum is not in line with international standards, practical and personalized degree is not enough, these problems affect the learning experience and satisfaction of international students. Through literature review, case analysis, questionnaire survey, in-depth interview and other research methods, the study conducted in-depth research on international students with different backgrounds to obtain first-hand data, and on this basis, put forward a series of suggestions for curriculum optimization. These suggestions include strengthening the internationalization of curriculum content, emphasizing the combination of practical teaching and theoretical teaching, implementing personalized curriculum customization, strengthening the emphasis on language learning, and optimizing the curriculum evaluation system. The research results show that optimizing the curriculum can not only improve the learning effect and satisfaction of international students, but also promote their cultural adaptation and career development, and provide talent support for international exchanges and cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
