Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of implementing ADOPT nursing mode in the nursing process of patients with traumatic brain injury surgery on improving their self-care ability and limb function. Method: 88 patients with traumatic brain injury surgery in our hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were selected as the subjects and randomly divided into a control group (44 cases, receiving routine care during postoperative recovery) and an observation group (44 cases, receiving ADOPT care mode) according to an Excel table. Compare the patients recovery situation. The results showed that there was no difference in self-care ability and limb function scores between the two groups before nursing intervention. After intervention, the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with a P<0.05 difference. Compared with the quality of life of patients during recovery, the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Applying the ADOPT nursing model to the care of patients undergoing craniocerebral trauma surgery can improve their self-care ability and limb function, and improve their quality of life during recovery.
