Objective To analyze the nursing effect of nutritional support combined with complete nursing in patients with gastric ulcer. Methods A total of 60 patients with gastric ulcer admitted to our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were selected and divided into control group (30 cases, routine nursing) and observation group (combined with nutritional support and complete nursing) according to the nursing methods used, and the nursing effects were compared. Results The serum albumin and serum prealbumin levels, the recurrence rate of gastric ulcer and the compliance score of health management behavior 6 months after discharge of the two groups were compared. The results showed that the serum albumin and serum prealbumin levels and the compliance score of health management behavior of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the recurrence rate of gastric ulcer was lower than that of the control group. There were statistically significant differences among all groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of nutritional support combined with complete nursing in the nursing of patients with gastric ulcer can have a better nursing effect, help patients to improve their compliance with health management behavior, improve their nutritional status, and have a better prognosis for patients with gastric ulcer recurrence.
