Objective: To analyze and detail the application effect of respiratory function training combined with cough and sputum removal intervention in the rehabilitation of patients with chronic tuberculosis empyema surgery. It is expected that the research theory can be applied to practice to promote the development of the field, better serve patients and relieve the disease and suffering. Methods: The study of 123 patients undergoing chronic tuberculosis empyema in our hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were divided into two groups based on the order of patients, and different intervention strategies were implemented between the two groups, including 61 cases and providing routine nursing services; 62 cases including respiratory training, followed by data collection, effect evaluation, and integration. Use t test (normal measurement data); use χ2 test (count data); calculate means with (-x±s) instead. Results: After statistical analysis, the plan adopted by group B was more feasible, and the patients were reflected in pain score, nursing satisfaction, complication rate and quality of life, which showed excellent group A (P <0.05), with outstanding experimental value and worth discussing. Conclusion: for patients with chronic tuberculosis empyema surgery, in the horizontal selection of clinical nursing scheme, suggest preferred b group adopted, namely respiratory function training joint cough sputum intervention strategy, not only can reduce patients pain symptoms, reduce complications incidence, improve the quality of life, also can greatly improve the relationship between nurses, harvest patient satisfaction, worthy of affirmation, reference, praise.
