Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of neonatal touch and acupressure combined with traditional Chinese medicine on neonatal jaundice. Methods 105 cases of neonatal jaundice children admitted to the neonatology Department of our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were divided into two groups by computer randomization principle. Among them, 52 cases in the reference group received neonatal touch nursing, and 53 cases in the study group received acupressure intervention of traditional Chinese medicine. Results The symptom remission time of neonates in the study group was shorter than that in the control group (P < 0.05). The total bilirubin, direct bilirubin and indirect bilirubin in the study group after nursing were lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05); The nursing satisfaction score of the children in the study group was higher than that in the reference group (P < 0.05). The average daily sleep duration of the study group after intervention was longer than that of the reference group (P < 0.05), and the differences were statistically significant. Conclusion The effect of neonatal touch combined with acupressure of traditional Chinese medicine on neonatal jaundice children is very significant, which can accelerate the speed of jaundice regression and fetal yellow, strengthen the effect of blue light irradiation, improve the sleep quality and shorten the hospitalization time of neonatal jaundice children.
