Objective To analyze the effect of humanized nursing in COPD patients. Methods A total of 68 COPD patients who received treatment in our hospital during this period were selected from July 2021 to July 2023, and were divided into the control group with 34 patients receiving routine care and the remaining 34 patients receiving humanized care in the observation group according to the method of randomization. The quality of life before and after care of the two groups was compared. Meanwhile, the pulmonary function rehabilitation indexes before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05), while after nursing, patients in the observation group had a higher quality of life score (P<0.05). As for the comparison of lung function indexes, before nursing, there was no significant difference in the comparison of lung function indexes in the observation group (P>0.05), while after nursing, the lung function indexes in the observation group were higher (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of humanized nursing for COPD patients can create a more comfortable physical and psychological nursing atmosphere for patients, improve the quality of life of patients, and strengthen the disease control of COPD, which is conducive to the enhancement of lung function.
