In order to implement the strategic thinking of cultural power, cultivating high-quality comprehensive talents has become the need of global development and the future development of the country. Based on this premise, the education industry has been innovating in teaching methods in recent years, and exploring new forms of integration of art education and ideological and political education will inevitably become the historical responsibility of art colleges and universities. We must reform the teaching methods, so that students can focus on the cultivation of socialist core values on the basis of learning art, improve their aesthetic ability and cultural accomplishment, and promote the all-round development of students. Taking the ideological and political education method of the Dance Department of Xian Conservatory of Music as an example, this paper discusses how to give full play to the professional expertise of art colleges and universities, combine ideological and political education with art professional practice, and effectively explore innovative models of ideological and political teaching.
